The heart of our teaching at Wesley is the Sunday night experience - Praise, Prayer and Preaching. Starting at 6pm in Wesley Theatre, 220 Pitt Street.
We extend to everyone a warm welcome - light refreshments are served after worship.

Praise, Prayer and Preaching 2010 Calendar
Restoring Justice to a Damaged World
The message of Justice sits at the heart of all gospel
proclamation. The gospel is the Good News of God’s salvation
from the powers of evil, the establishment of his eternal
kingdom, and his final victory over everything which defies
his purpose. We are committed to preaching a whole gospel
because people have an intrinsic dignity and worth.
To restore justice is to acknowledge that we live in a fallen
world where human self-centredness is clearly demonstrated
and every part of our humanness has been distorted. This has
implications and causes pain, disorientation and emptiness
which is seen in much human suffering. The Superintendent
explores from across the Bible, both Old and New Testaments,
how justice can be restored. He begins from the assumption
that human relationships are always capable of new life. This
gospel message has inspired Wesley Mission for close on two
hundred years and still sustains us today. Keith Garner will
ground these sermons in Scripture and in specific application
to our mission in Sydney for the 21st Century.
